Before you begin: File structure
Alato Lab is designed to process uploads structured as a parent folder (e.g. “Bat Survey”) containing subfolders for each device (e.g. “Device 1”, “Device 2”). Each subfolder represents an individual acoustic monitor and contains its associated recording.
How to upload
Open your chosen survey.
Click the Upload recordings button.
Click the Upload Folder drop zone, and select desired folder of recordings.
Once you’ve selected a folder, click Upload and process files to start the upload. Files are processed automatically once uploaded.
Once uploaded, Alato Lab will analyse your files for bat activity. You can safely leave this page while it processes in the background.
You’ll receive an email when your files have finished processing, ready for you to start reviewing.
